Assalamu’alaikum brothers and sisters! The time has now come for the 50th Executive Committee (Exco) to make way for the 51st in assuming their roles and responsibilities as they take up office.
It has indeed been a beautiful journey of growth, not only for us individuals in our respective positions, but also for the society in its milestones. As the 50th, we would like to humbly seek your forgiveness for any inadequacies on our part, be it intentional or not. On behalf of the Exco, I would also like to thank you for maintaining a conducive online environment for the good of everyone here.
On this blessed day and month, we wish the 51st Exco all the best in their undertakings and may their journey be a smooth-sailing one in His path, in shaa Allah. Rest assured, you have all our support!
And perhaps, the last daily wisdom we would like to leave you with is this narration by Abdul Aziz ibn Suhaib; where Qatadah once asked Anas r.a.:
Which supplication would Rasulullah s.a.w. make the most? Anas r.a. replied: The supplication that Rasulullah s.a.w. would make the most is:
“O Allah, grant us the good in this world and the good in the hereafter, and protect us from the torment of hellfire.”
ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار
May we be granted all that is good, in all our intentions, actions and decisions, for our parents, friends and loved ones. May this Ramadhan be our best yet, and may we be granted the opportunity to meet the next one in shaa Allah. Allahumma Amin.
Wabillahi Taufiq Walhidayah
Wabirredha Wal’inayah Wassalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Much love and gratitude,
50th Executive Committee
